On October 28, 2023, at approximately 10:50 a.m., the Alaska State Troopers and firefighters responded to a house fire in Wasilla, Alaska. Upon arrival, they discovered 71-year-old resident Randy Algood inside the burning residence. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, Algood was pronounced deceased at the scene.
