On the evening of April 15, 2019, gunshots echoed through the 2400 block of Pomeroy Road in Southeast Washington, D.C., forever altering the lives of those connected to Antwan Marquis Hucks. A 31-year-old man from Oxon Hill, Maryland, Hucks was discovered on a sidewalk in front of an apartment building, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
