On November 19, 2020, 41-year-old Demarlo Frantrun George was fatally shot during a domestic incident at his residence in the Letson Farms community of McCalla, Alabama. Responding to a report of a shooting around 8:40 a.m., Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies arrived at the 6300 block of North Clubview Circle, where they discovered George deceased from multiple gunshot wounds.
