On July 11, 2019, at approximately 1:50 a.m., a tragic incident occurred on Interstate 22 near Jasper, Alabama, resulting in the deaths of four individuals from Little Rock, Arkansas. Among the victims was 29-year-old Kheri Thomas Ayers. The group was traveling in a Nissan Altima when their vehicle was struck head-on by a Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck that was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of the interstate.
