On June 15, 2019, 58-year-old Tommy Ervin Shyrie Sr. and 26-year-old Kristy Lynn Pickett were found shot to death in their home in Warrior, Alabama. The discovery was made after Pickett's mother requested a welfare check due to her inability to contact her daughter.
