In the quiet of a late Thursday evening in Gardendale, Alabama, a domestic argument spiraled into a tragedy that would end the life of a respected police officer. Andrew Wade Kimbrel, a 42-year-old white male and a veteran of the Vestavia Hills Police Department, was fatally shot in his home at the Woodbrook Apartments on May 2, 2019.
