On the tragic day of August 18, 2006, a deliberately set fire at the Park Vista Apartments in Racine, Wisconsin, claimed the life of 44-year-old Gloria Denton, an African-American female. She and her young granddaughter, Natesha Denton, perished as they attempted to flee the flames that engulfed their residence at 4225 Durand Ave.
