Colorado woman found murdered in an irrigation ditch
On June 4, 2003, the body of 40-year-old Margarette Brown was discovered in an irrigation canal near Weld County Roads 43 and 90 in Weld County, Colorado. Brown, a mother of four, had been reported missing just a few days earlier. On the night of June 1, 2003, she made several phone calls, including one to 911, where she claimed that two unidentified women were in her home, and she wanted them to leave.
