In the early hours of a September morning in 2012, the life of 33-year-old James Jackson, known to his loved ones as 'Trell,' was tragically cut short on a street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. On September 22nd, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Jackson was standing with a group of people next to parked cars in the 1900 block of N. 32nd Street when violence erupted. At the time of his death, he was eagerly awaiting the birth of his twins.
