A man is found murdered in his home; his vintage motorcycles stolen
Bernard “Bob” Hirst was found murdered in his home on the 15000 block of Crescent Valley Road in South Kitsap on March 30, 1982. He died from severe head wounds. His vintage motorcycles were taken and there was an attempt to burn his house down. Hirst was said to have been an “eccentric” man who sometimes gardened only in a loincloth. Some neighbors also remembered him as a giving man who could fix anything.
