A woman's body is found floating in Puget Sound
Shanan Lynn Read’s body, badly decomposed, was found floating in the Puget Sound – between Manchester and Blake Island – on Jan. 15, 2006. Her death, which is believed to have occurred in Seattle, was determined to be suspicious by the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office. The last known contact with Read occurred in September 2005.
