On March 9, 2012, 55-year-old Leroy Wright was found shot outside an apartment complex at 2101 Franklin Street in Denver, Colorado. Police officers responded to reports of gunfire and found Wright lying on the sidewalk. He was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly after. The details surrounding the shooting remain unclear, and no suspects have been identified.
