In the early hours of May 9, 2012, a burst of gunfire shattered the night at 13390 E. 55th Avenue in Denver, Colorado, leading to the tragic death of James Dishmon. A Black male, James, who was 24 years old at the time, was standing outside with a group of people when unknown assailants opened fire. The sudden violence of the attack left a total of four individuals with gunshot wounds.
