On September 30, 2012, 50-year-old Carter Leon Smith was found shot to death in the 2400 block of Ingram Avenue in Richmond, Virginia. The police responded to a call around 11:27 p.m. and discovered Smith, who had died from his injuries at the scene. Despite investigations into the murder, no suspects have been identified, and the case remains unsolved.
