A woman is found beaten to death
Corazon Frandsen, a 26-year-old widow, was brutally murdered in Murray, Utah, on February 5, 1978, in a case that remains unsolved to this day. Corazon, who had lost her husband to cancer five years earlier, had gone to dinner with her in-laws the night before her murder. Afterward, she picked up groceries and returned to her apartment at 5272 S. Cobble Creek Road. It was in the parking lot of her apartment complex where she was attacked while exiting her car.
