A nude woman is found wrapped in carpeting at the old Salt Lake Beach
In the autumn of 1978, the quiet landscape near Magna, Utah, held a grim secret. On October 25th, a motorist traveling near the old Salt Lake Beach off of I-80 made a startling discovery: the body of a Caucasian female, who would later be identified as 45-year-old Patricia Ann Barrett. The woman was found nude and wrapped in a piece of carpeting. An investigation into her death began, piecing together the last days of a life that had ended in tragedy.
