On May 30, 1992, Kenneth Jones, aged 20, was killed in Tyler, Texas, in a tragic shooting that remains unsolved. Jones and a friend were sitting in their vehicle in front of his residence at 1100 1/2 West Queen Street when they heard multiple gunshots in the area. In response, they exited the vehicle to investigate the source of the sounds.
