On April 9, 2007, John Henry, a 47-year-old resident of Houston, Texas, was found dead under circumstances that pointed to homicide. The incident took place at his residence, and authorities responded after receiving reports of a disturbance. Upon their arrival, Houston Police officers discovered John Henry lying in critical condition, having sustained multiple stab wounds. He was transported to a local hospital for emergency treatment but succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
