Dionisio Rodriguez, age 35, was killed on November 3, 2007, in San Antonio, Texas, as part of a tragic murder-for-hire plot. The incident involved a hitman who had been paid to carry out the killing. Rodriguez was shot once in the head with a .357-caliber Magnum pistol in what was later revealed to be a plot devised by his spouse and her accomplices to collect life insurance money.
