On December 9, 2007, 68-year-old Marianne Wilkinson was fatally shot at her home in North Richland Hills, Texas. That evening, she and her husband, Don, were watching television when the doorbell rang around 8 p.m. Upon answering the door, Marianne was shot multiple times by an unknown assailant and died at the scene.
