Douglas Sanford, age 27, was killed in a shooting in San Antonio, Texas, on October 10, 2010. The tragic incident unfolded along Old Seguin Road, just east of I-410, in the early hours of the morning. A San Antonio Police Department officer, who was leaving Brooke Army Medical Center at the time, heard gunshots and followed the sounds to the location where he found Sanford's abandoned car with the left blinker still on.
