Augustine Jose Flores, age 16, was tragically shot and killed on November 22, 2010, in Houston, Texas. The incident took place around 11:45 p.m. in the 4300 block of North Shepherd Drive. Augustine was riding his bicycle when he was approached by unknown suspects in a vehicle. The assailants fired multiple shots, hitting him in the back. Despite immediate medical assistance and being transported to Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital, Augustine succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Witnesses at the scene reported seeing suspicious activity in the area, and the Houston Police Department initiated an investigation into the case. However, the lack of detailed descriptions of the suspects or the vehicle limited the ability to make swift progress in the investigation. The police have since classified this case as an unsolved homicide and included it as part of their cold case files.

The Houston Police Department has appealed for any information that might help solve Augustine's case. Anyone with details is encouraged to contact the Houston Police Homicide Division or Crime Stoppers. Authorities remain hopeful that, with community assistance, those responsible for this senseless act of violence can be brought to justice and provide some measure of closure to Augustine's grieving family.
