On the evening of November 28, 2010, 34-year-old Hispanic male Jose Reyes was fatally shot in San Antonio, Texas. While driving his red Ford Ranger pickup truck along Grissom Road near Misty Way, accompanied by his wife, Christina Rivera, and their two young daughters, another vehicle pulled alongside them and opened fire. Jose Reyes was struck six times and died at the scene. Christina Rivera sustained two gunshot wounds but survived, while their children were unharmed physically.
