Noe Mendez, aged 36, was killed on May 12, 2011, in Houston, Texas, during what appears to be gang-related violence. Mendez, a documented member of the Southwest Cholo gang, became a target in a brutal ambush orchestrated by the rival gang Mara Salvatrucha, commonly known as MS-13. Mendez was fatally shot in what is believed to have been part of an ongoing turf conflict between the Southwest Cholos and MS-13. This incident occurred at 5720 Rampart in the Gulfton area of Houston.
