On November 6, 2011, Patrick Ohien, a 51-year-old male, was killed in a shooting outside a convenience store in southwest Harris County, Houston, Texas. The incident occurred during what appeared to be a robbery attempt. According to the investigation, Ohien was approached by two suspects while drinking with a group of men near the Conoco station located at 13102 Bissonnet near Synott. The two assailants attempted to rob the group at gunpoint, leading to a struggle during which Ohien was shot in the chest. He was transported to Southwest Memorial Hermann Hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
The two suspects, identified as Tyreon Young (17) and Patrick Sharard Guillory (22), were subsequently charged with capital murder.
