Rolando Ponce, age 40, was killed in a drive-by shooting on July 2, 2013, in San Antonio, Texas. The incident occurred outside his home on Hicks Avenue on the city’s East Side. Ponce was waiting in his front yard for contractors to arrive when the assailant or assailants fired multiple shots, striking him in the torso. San Antonio police responded to the scene shortly after the attack. Unfortunately, Ponce was pronounced dead at the scene, and no suspects were immediately taken into custody. ...
