On January 4, 1977, Dannette Barrett was found murdered alongside her boyfriend, Harry "the Horse" Flamburis, the president of the San Francisco chapter of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club. The couple was discovered shot in the head at their home in Daly City, California, after being bound by their assailants. The crime scene also revealed that $22,000 worth of cocaine and a quantity of LSD had been stolen from a safe in the house.
