On October 23, 2015, Anthony Nwoke, 35, was the victim of a homicide in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred as part of a broader crime wave involving multiple robberies and murders in the southwest region of Houston. Authorities linked Nwoke's death to a series of armed robberies and shootings targeting individuals in apartment complex parking lots. These incidents occurred in late 2014, but investigations later connected the same suspects to further violence extending into 2015.
Eric Foster and Sebastian Drayton were both implicated in the crime wave that included Nwoke's death. Foster and Drayton were eventually apprehended and charged with multiple counts of capital murder for their roles in these attacks. Their modus operandi typically involved targeting individuals during or after attempted robberies. Witnesses and evidence gathered from multiple crime scenes, including ballistics and stolen items, helped connect these suspects to several violent incidents throughout Houston.
