On November 16, 2014, 19-year-old Rikko Armando Valencia was fatally shot in northwest Houston, Texas. After finishing his shift at a local Whataburger around 4:20 a.m., Valencia was walking home when he was approached by three individuals in a vehicle. Two suspects exited the car and demanded his belongings. When Valencia did not comply quickly, one of the assailants shot him in the face at point-blank range.
