On November 30, 2015, 24-year-old Tyera Dean Mukes was tragically killed in Fort Worth, Texas. The incident occurred at a Motel 6 located near 6600 South Freeway, where Mukes was shot at point-blank range in the lobby. The assailant, identified as 34-year-old Joshua M. Lewis, was reportedly hiding between two vending machines before emerging and fatally shooting Mukes. Authorities indicated that Mukes did not know Lewis, suggesting the attack was random. citeturn0search0
