Tyera Dean Mukes, a 24-year-old woman from Cushing, Oklahoma, tragically lost her life on November 30, 2015, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was shot and killed in the lobby of a Motel 6 near 6600 S Freeway. According to her mother, Wendy Sullivan, the shooting was random, and Tyera did not know the suspect. The suspect, 34-year-old Joshua M. Lewis, was hiding between two pop machines when he emerged and shot Tyera point-blank in the head.
