Antonio Avina, age 46, was fatally shot on Christmas Eve in San Antonio, Texas. The incident occurred as Avina was walking home from a friend's house in the 700 block of West Woodlawn Avenue around 3:30 a.m. Avina managed to make it back home, where his wife called the authorities, and he was subsequently taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and passed away on January 31, 2016.
