On March 29, 2016, 36-year-old Charlotte Walker was fatally shot while riding her bicycle in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred in the 2700 block of Sampson Street, where Walker was struck by a bullet fired from a distance. The shooter was positioned on a balcony and used a .22 caliber rifle equipped with a homemade silencer and scope, indicating a premeditated act. Walker succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
