On August 9, 2017, Cornelius Williams, 36, was fatally shot in Houston, Texas, under circumstances that point to a violent, targeted attack. Williams was driving with his 6-year-old nephew in northeast Houston when an unidentified assailant approached their vehicle, firing at Williams multiple times.
