On November 9, 2019, Curtis Price II, aged 40, was found deceased on the side of the roadway on County Road 2020 in Shelby County, Texas. The discovery was made after the Shelby County Sheriff's Office received a call around 11:00 p.m. Upon arrival, deputies identified the body as Curtis Price II. An autopsy confirmed that Price had been murdered, prompting the initiation of a homicide investigation.
