Do you know who murdered John Henry? On March 12, 1988, John Henry Duffin, a 68-year-old man, was tragically murdered while visiting San Diego, California. Duffin, who was in the city with his wife to visit friends, had just dropped his companions off at a restaurant and went to park their car about two blocks away. However, he did not return after some time, which prompted his wife and friends to begin searching for him. Eventually, they discovered him with police officers and paramedics who were attempting to render aid.
Duffin had been brutally beaten and robbed of his wallet and credit cards. Two suspects were reported: one was described as a heavy-set Black male, standing 6'6" to 6'8" tall, and the other as a thin Black male with a scraggly beard. They were believed to be driving a black 1974-1977 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, Buick Regal, or Oldsmobile Cutlass. The San Diego Police Department continues to investigate the case as a cold case, seeking any information that could lead to the identification and arrest of the suspects involved in this tragic crime.
