On March 12, 1988, John Henry Duffin, a 68-year-old man, was tragically murdered while visiting San Diego, California. Duffin, who was in the city with his wife to visit friends, had just dropped his companions off at a restaurant and went to park their car about two blocks away. However, he did not return after some time, which prompted his wife and friends to begin searching for him. Eventually, they discovered him with police officers and paramedics who were attempting to render aid.
