In the autumn of 2007, a grim discovery was made in Memphis, Tennessee, that would mark the city's 126th homicide of the year. The body of Sheila Jackson, a 50-year-old African-American woman, was found inside a trash can on October 4th. It took four days for authorities to positively identify her, a process completed through the use of her fingerprints.
