On November 17, 1992, 24-year-old Joseph William Bonno, IV, was found shot to death in the parking lot of his apartment complex at 10940 Scripps Ranch Blvd in San Diego. He had reportedly been taking out the trash and possibly went to check on his car when he was confronted by an unknown suspect.
