Do you know who murdered Linzy? On the night of March 29, 2002, 30-year-old Linzy Pierson, also known as "Bugsy," was fatally shot on the sidewalk in the 4600 block of Hartley Street in San Diego, California. Pierson was found by police officers who responded to a report of gunshots in the area. Upon their arrival, they discovered Pierson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses reported seeing Pierson in conversation with an unidentified man just before the shooting. The exchange quickly escalated, with the suspect allegedly saying, "It’s going to be like that, huh?" before pulling out a firearm and opening fire. After Pierson collapsed, the gunman stood over him and fired several more rounds before fleeing the scene on foot. Despite the presence of witnesses and an investigation by the San Diego Police Department, no arrests have been made in connection with Pierson's murder, and the case remains unsolved. The San Diego Police Department continues to seek information from the public to help solve this case.
