On May 18, 2009, Glidie Cobbs, a 49-year-old resident of Fairywood, a neighborhood in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was shot and killed during a robbery at his home. The incident occurred on the 2000 block of Broadhead Fording Road. According to police reports, three men broke into Cobbs' home with the intent to rob it.
