On a Friday night in Philadelphia, on November 20, 2009, events unfolded that would tragically end the life of 30-year-old Walter T. Champion III, a White male. At approximately 9:38 p.m., police were called to an apartment on the unit block of South 3rd Street. There, they discovered Champion suffering from a gunshot wound.
