On July 2, 2010, Kevin Carolina, a 28-year-old resident of Philadelphia, was shot and killed on the 700 block of West Sedgley Street. Philadelphia Police found Carolina at the scene with fatal injuries, but despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead soon after. The investigation into his death has not resulted in an arrest, and the case remains unsolved.
