Daniel Irizarry, a 24-year-old Hispanic/Latino male from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was killed on January 6, 2011, in North Philadelphia. Police identified him the next morning after he was found slain outside his home on Hazzard Street near American Street. The shooting happened in the 200 block of West Hazzard Street, a tight residential stretch in the city’s Fairhill/North Philadelphia area.
