Harold Young, a 17-year-old from Pittsburgh's Hill District, was tragically murdered on August 25, 2012. Harold, also known as "Lil Butter," was shot while in his neighborhood, adding to a particularly deadly month in Pittsburgh, which saw a spike in homicides. His death was one of many in August, contributing to the rising number of young Black men lost to violence in the city.
