On the evening of June 26, 2013, 19-year-old African-American male Tracy Briscoe was fatally shot in North Philadelphia. The incident occurred around 8:50 p.m. at the intersection of Germantown and Indiana Avenues, just outside a local bar. Briscoe sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was transported to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
