Virgil Bookert, a 50-year-old male, was shot to death on November 25, 2013, in the Homewood neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His body was found inside the home on Stoneville Street, where he lived with his mother and other family members. The discovery was made at around 3:43 p.m. by his brother, who went to check on Bookert after he failed to pick up their mother as planned.
