In the early morning hours of June 13, 2014, a resident of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, met a violent and untimely end. Rasheim Harris, a 39-year-old African-American man, was discovered lying on the street in the unit block of East Walnut Lane. It was approximately 5:47 a.m. when Philadelphia Police Officers responded to the scene, finding Mr. Harris outside of a black Chevrolet Impala. He had sustained a single, fatal gunshot wound to his face.
