David Calhoun, aged 31, was killed during an attempted home invasion on July 22, 2014, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred at an apartment building in the Carrick neighborhood, specifically on Merritt Avenue. Calhoun, along with another man named Christopher Thomas, reportedly broke into the apartment intending to rob the occupants.
