James Nelson, a 33-year-old resident of Pittsburgh, was fatally shot on August 3, 2014, in Stowe Township, a neighborhood located near Pittsburgh. The incident occurred around 3:20 p.m. on Pleasant Ridge Road. Police and emergency services responded promptly after receiving reports of a shooting in the area. Nelson was found suffering from gunshot wounds and was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly afterward.
