In the North Philadelphia neighborhood he knew so well, Jason Conley, a 38-year-old former Marine with a love for life and a deep devotion to his only son, was found lying on the ground in front of a home on the 2900 block of West Oakdale Street on September 27, 2014. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body and did not survive his injuries.
