Terrance Stewart, a 35-year-old Philadelphia resident, was tragically murdered on October 20, 2016. On October 18, 2016, at approximately 9:13 p.m., Philadelphia Police responded to the 300 block of North Felton Street following reports of gunfire. Officers found Terrance suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, including two to the head. He was immediately transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center by the officers. Despite the efforts of hospital staff, Terrance succumbed to his injuries two days later, on October 20, 2016.
Terrance lived on the 1500 block of North 28th Street in Philadelphia. He shared a close bond with his family, particularly with his siblings. He was born on April 6, 1981, and coincidentally shared his birthday with his youngest sister, Shadeea. Terrance was described by his sister Shantae as a non-judgmental and loving person, known affectionately by his family as "Uncle Fat Dirty." He had a daughter, Destiny, with whom he was in the process of rebuilding his relationship at the time of his death. His family continues to remember him fondly, and they hold annual memorials in his honor, releasing balloons and sharing a meal on the anniversary of his death.
Terrance's case remains unsolved, and detectives are urging anyone with information to come forward. A reward of up to $20,000 is being offered for information that could lead to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. His family continues to advocate for justice, emphasizing the profound loss they have endured due to this senseless act of violence.
